Amid local innovations and structural challenges, GRET continues to strengthen its efforts to improve the nutrition of Malagasy populations, particularly mothers and young children. Present in Madagascar for over two decades, GRET has established itself as a key player in the field of food fortification. During a press briefing held on November 11 at Le Pavé Antaninarenina, Alisoa Randrianarivo, an agri-food expert with GRET’s nutrition project, outlined the progress made and the remaining challenges in advancing this essential strategy for the country’s nutritional security.
