JIRAMA users in all of Madagascar's major cities are complaining about the electricity and water supply. One or two demonstrations of the umpteenth power cuts have been seen in a few neighborhoods around Antananarivo since mid-September 2024. These alternating power cuts are something that users have apparently got used to over time, despite the fact that their bills are as exorbitant as ever. However, blue bottles are still plying the streets of some areas, joining the yellow jerry cans as Jirama's last resort in the face of indomitable drinking water.
