Journalists in Madagascar face numerous challenges in their professional work, including insecurity, political pressure, and polarization within the media sector. To address these issues, the Analamanga Media Dialogue Platform was officially launched on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. This initiative, which concluded a workshop for its establishment, aims to protect journalists and promote a healthier media environment. The platform will initially cover six regions in Madagascar, including Analamanga, Anosy, Androy, Matsiatra Ambony, and Vakinankaratra, with plans to expand further.
