Dolph Hasner wins the Golden Ondine at FIFAM 2025 with a short film that questions the place of stray dogs in Madagascar’s urban landscape. Created in 2D animation, Alika won over the jury at the International Animated Film Festival of Madagascar. Through the disrupted routine of a street dog, the filmmaker offers a bittersweet metaphor for precariousness and attachment. The film marks a new step in the rise of Malagasy animated cinema.
