In Madagascar, a library to combat rural illiteracy. Faced with a glaring lack of access to reading in the south of the country, an association is launching a pilot project in the isolated district of Beroroha. In a region where more than two-thirds of the population is illiterate, the Makai Innovation association is initiating the creation of a school library in Beroroha, a district in southwestern Madagascar. A charity gala is planned in Antananarivo on May 24th to finance this educational project led by civil society.
