A conference held at the National Library on May 9th highlighted the crucial role of radio dramas in education, culture, and in adapting to technological changes. In Madagascar, where the “listening culture” is deeply rooted, the radio drama transcends mere entertainment. An insightful event, led by prominent figures Ralala Robson and Nofy Andrianjaka, recently underscored at the National Library in Anosy the essential function of these audio fictions in civic education, the transmission of values, and the preservation of cultural identity - especially in an era marked by digital expansion and increasing audience expectations for quality.
