On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in Nanisana, Madagascar’s Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD) signed 51 management delegation contracts with 20 protected area managers. This marks a decisive turning point in the management of these sensitive zones, after more than seven years without a single contract.
